What is the Zootown Music Festival?

The Zootown Music Festival is Missoula's premier outdoor music festival, featuring world-class artists, local food and drink vendors, and an unforgettable atmosphere in the heart of Montana.

Is the festival family-friendly?

Absolutely! Zootown is perfect for all ages. One adult ticket grants entry for one child aged 7 or under. All children aged 8 and older must purchase their own ticket.

How do I get to the festival?

The Missoula Fairgrounds – 1101 South Ave W, Missoula, MT 59801 is centrally located and accessible by car, bike, festival shuttles, or public transportation.

What are the festival hours?

Gates and Festival Hours will be posted closer to the event.

Does the festival have merchandise or other goods for sale?

Yes, the festival will have an incredible assortment of festival and artist merchandise, as well as local vendors and artisans.

What zip codes permit access to the Local Pre-Sale?

If you have a debit or credit card with any of the following zip codes attached to your billing details, you will have access to the Local Pre-Sale at 10AM on 11/21:

59801, 59802, 59803, 59804, 59806, 59807, 59808, 59812, 59820, 59821, 59823, 59825, 59834, 59847, 59851, 59833, 59870, 59875, 59828, 59840, 59829, 59827, and 59871.

Are there discounts for children?

Yes! One adult ticket grants entry for one child aged 7 or under. All children aged 8 and older must purchase their own ticket.

Are tickets refundable?

All sales are final; this is a rain-or-shine event.

Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets can be purchased online via Front Gate. Tickets are only available on the Front Gate site; beware that the festival is not responsible for purchases from other platforms or sellers.

Are there discounts for locals?

Yes! We will have a locals-only Pre-Sale on Nov 21st at 10 AM MT. There will be a limited amount of tickets available online as well as full-priced physical tickets located at Rockin Rudy’s – while supplies last. Rockin Rudy’s - 237 Blaine St. Missoula, MT 59801 (406.542.0077).

Event

What items are prohibited?

Outside food and drinks, weapons, illegal substances, and large umbrellas are not permitted. Please check back closer to showtime for a full list of Prohibited Items.

What items are allowed?

Feel free to bring small backpacks, sunscreen, and refillable water bottles. An official bag policy will be posted closer to the event.

Is the festival accessible for people with disabilities?

Yes, the Missoula Fairgrounds is ADA-accessible, and we offer accessible viewing areas, restrooms, and parking.

Will there be food and drinks available?

Yes, enjoy a wide variety of local food trucks, craft beers, full bar and non-alcoholic beverages that are available for purchase throughout the festival.

Can I bring my own food or drinks?

Outside food and beverages are prohibited, but we have many great options.

Will there be free water at the festival?

There will be free water stations at the festival located throughout the site. You may bring one factory-sealed or empty water bottle to the festival.

Is there an application for vendors?

Yes, Food Vendors can apply here. Stay tuned for a Craft Vendor application coming soon!

Can I leave and re-enter the festival?

No re-entry is allowed after your ticket is scanned.

Are pets allowed?

Only service animals are permitted at the festival.

Traveling to Missoula

Getting to Missoula for Zootown is easy with 15 nonstop flights to Missoula International Airport (MSO) from major cities. If you’re driving, enjoy stunning scenic routes via I-90 or Highway 93 for a picturesque trip to the festival!

Getting to the Festival

There are many ways to get to Zootown Music Festival, including near-site parking, Shuttle, Ride-Share, Biking, and Walking. More details on our multi-modal transportation options will be shared later.

Please respect all private property and be aware of all signage in the area directing traffic.

Will lodging packages be available?

Yes, please check our Lodging Options in partnership with Crewfare.

Is there a security protocol at the festival’s entrance?

Yes, for the safety of all patrons, there will be an airport-style entry, including passing through weapons detection devices and bag searches. Children will be screened with the consent of a parent or guardian.

Is the festival safe?

Yes, your safety is our top priority. We’ll have law enforcement, professional security, first aid stations, and clear safety protocols in place.

How do you deal with harassment at Zootown?
